Singapore Airlines Refunds Delay Update
Posted on: 20 July 2020

Flight Centre is working closely with Singapore International Airlines (SIA) to progress the refunds of mutual customers. Unfortunately Singapore Airlines has advised us that there are delays in their refund processing. So far Flight Centre has received just under 20% of customer refunds from the airline which has been forced to reduce its capacity to just 6% of what was planned for the year.

SIA has redeployed staff from other areas of its business to shorten processing times, however, thousands of customers are still impacted. At this time, refunds for customers with tickets departing before 31 March 2020 have been completed, and the next step is to process refunds by the 'date of the application' for a refund.

If you have a departure date after 31 March 2020, we respectfully ask that you allow us the time to work with SIA to complete the process.
